I respect Islam and view them as a religion that God would approve of, but thats because I dont think it is a sin to have incorrect beliefs, as long as you worship the true God, and anstain from sin. For example, if you think Mohhamed (pbuh) is a prophet, and it turns out he wasnt, it wouldnt be a sin to have believed he was because he was teaching you to worship some false God. Likewise, the bible doesnt say its a sin to think Jesus is an angel, etc. I believe God will look at the important stuff: worshipping only the true God, abstaining from adultery etc. With that said, islam is technically a church I could join, but again, it would include even more things that I dont believe than would the JW church, but I do support Islam.
