because schoolteachers are legally required to pretend that the illegible chickenscratch of niggers and spics is english writing, handwriting classes are banned in 50 out of 50 states, and while worrying about national trends in illiteracy is an acceptable rate anyone calling out an individual illiterate will be depersoned.

I've been hearing about this recently, that it's actually disturbing people. Men specifically are reading less, even just for pleasure.

It's a general trend, orobably as a reqult if importing third worlders, but also because the lockdowns fucked things up for every group except the gifted children.

Because parents don't want to parent anymore they want to hand their kid a phone or tablet to get them to not bother them or anyone in public.

Kids are obsessed with dumb shit they see on tv and video games, they get older and are attached to Instagram and trying to compare themselves to all these other kids they go to school with. Everyone trying to be more popular than the other.

Reading is ok as long as it's non-fiction. If my child isn't reading either an encyclopedia, a dictionary or a history book I'd have to beat him for his own good

FFS literally half of the science fiction books I look up turn out to be gay propaganda. Gotta cram a homosexual or a tranny in every single space battle story.

For a perfect example of this shit, go read Walter Jon Williams' first and second "Praxis" trilogies. In the first trilogy, there's a minor character named Alan Haz. In the second trilogy, Williams got told by his publisher that he had to be more troon friendly so he had the character change xer name to "Alana" and be undergoing a sex change. Xe goes around kicking alien ass, including one scene where xe uses one of xer high heeled shoes to stab an alien in the brain.

And that's one of the mildest examples of this crap. There was another book that came out maybe a decade ago, which was an alternate-history novel about hippo ranching. Every third chapter had one of the main characters chatting up some random dude and then dragging him away for gay sex. I stopped reading halfway through and deleted the fucking garbage off my hard drive.

Sure am glad I just pirate all my ebooks nowadays and refuse to pay the NYC publishing industry a penny. The only books I've actually purchased in the last two years were hardcovers of old children's books that I want to preserve before they get banned or "edited" like the Dr. Seuss "racist" books were.
