I took 100 1mg over a two months. Tried to taper off but it didn't stop me from getting flu like symptoms coming off. Every thought an anxiety trigger. Every stimuli. After a few days of that it went to the emergency psych ward for relief. Could barely tie my shoe laces that night.

Wont recommend.

Like they work to cut the panic attack before it escalates and they did help my brain rewire its anxiety response but I felt like a sedated souless husk on them, I ditched them as soon as I could

If you take like 1 to 2mg max two or three times a month you'll be fine. Do not overuse them. Withdrawals are worse than heroin and can last weeks or months without a taper with a benzo with a very long half live like valium. Don't ask how I know.

Gabapentin is better. Benzos are hard to sustain long term. As soon as I started neurontin all my cravings for alcohol and opiates were gone. If you use a benzo at least use Klonopin it doesn't leave you high and dry 3 hours later
