I think you mean "you" as in migrants who dont deserve to be fed. Noticed how its only migrants complaining about this. Myself would be offered food from all my friends families when growing up unless I was going to eat at home. For cheap fucking migrants its not hard to figure they only wanted to come to your house to eat off your fucking dinner food because their brown parents dont want to buy food for them. They will ask obvious shit like "uhh so whens dinner XD" as soon as you get home, then you knew they were just there to eat some nice Swedish dinner instead of the cheap slop at home.

As a grown up, you ALWAYS offer food/snacks/drinks to friends, family and acquaintances. Especially if they're also White.

Idk what kind of liberal exchange students from Sweden you have meet in Australia that told you that, but actual Swedes mostly ask you to go home or stay in a room as not to make the guest kid to home and cause discomfort to his parents by saying
>I ate X good at Y's house, it was so good!
And force them to prepare to offer food in return.

But since Sweden is slowly becoming a carbon copy of America, this is changing.

Yeah, because the "warm" cultures of South America or Africa where food sharing is abundant is clearly better than Sweden... You have no grace, no sense of fine details, you are on a lower comprehension of social implications of ones actions.

This again... It all hinges on being invited. We dont make heaps of rice mixed with beans and raisins. When we cook it's planned out for a set number of people in family, stuff like x number of fish filets or pieces of meat, so if your kid brings a friend from school without letting you know it creates an awkward situation where you might not have an extra portion and that cuts into food you planned for another day. Almost every kid here also does some extracurricular, so many days dinners are quick efficient affairs. Bringing guests out of nowhere could mess up your schedule as well.

If you're invited to someones house in the evening you are almost certainly getting dinner, here we are talking about what happens when it isn't planned. In that case sure, you'll likely get a drink and a snack but usually not dinner.

Imagine having a budget, several kids each with a different after school activity you have to drive them to and you've paid about 20$ for a pack of picrel so you each get a piece. Then your kid has brought some brown over without letting you know and now have to deal with that on top of all the other things: that is the heart of the matter. That's the point I'm trying to make, food is expensive, daily life is busy busy and we dont sit around all evening eating some bean and rice stew getting inflamed. About 80% of our youth does some sort of training at least once a week. The infamous example brought up is a story about a kid not getting dinner because he showed up without an invite. If you're invited over it's obviously implicit you'll be met with hospitality. That's been a thing since the vikings wrote down HavamΓ‘l... we have well over a millennia and a half of hospitality but do you not consider it rude to show up somewhere uninvited and expect to be handed shit?

Even here in Australia, my kids would bring over friends that we didn't factor in our dinner plans. It wasn't hard to just order takeaway and defer the original dinner plan to tomorrow.

Back to my Swede friend, in my second last week of my exchange program, he asked to have dinner with his family somewhere near the city. That initial encounter was so awkward, I kindly admit that I'd feel more comfortable if it was just with him. So in the end, we had a nice lunch on the following day.

Oh it's absolutely about the mentality, not the food. We don't want to be entangled with strangers, this is what you oversocialized brown people don't understand.

You feed some Australian mooch and then you suddenly have him hanging around all the time. To you this is positive, but to us this is negative.

Don't think my skin is any darker than a Swede's. I am fine if his parents don't want me over for dinner, just say it and be upfront about it. If I knew that was going to be the case that day, I would have suggested alternative plans like my friend heading out somewhere to eat or something.

Tell me you're brown without telling me you're brown. The Swedes did the correct thing, no one here wants someone like you hanging around.
