Canada is mostly about resources the US already has. A tiny fraction of its economy is rare earths, and about 3% is tied to the whiskey industry in one way or another, be it trucking or farming grain etc.

Crown Royal is Canadian. 7,000,000 of their yearly 7,700,000 cases are sold in the US. If Trump blocks Canadian whiskey sales, as Ontario has, Canada loses 3% of its GDP overnight.

Crown Royal *IS* going to move to the US, because it makes more sense to sell 90% of your product untariffed, and not sell in Canada at all - than it does to make it in Canada and sell 90% to the US tariffed.

Canadians think this is equal. Its not. Your economy is 10x smaller, companies can simply stop selling in Canada entirely and forget you existed. your 10% fun fact, is worth less than the tariffs to them. The tariffs on US goods are 2.5x as big as the entire amount of profit they could make from the 10% market that Canada is.

Canadas whole economy doesnt even match the tariffs alone. Tariffs>the entire GDP of Canada.

Anyways heres the facts, Canada has no right to make steel and send it to the US while the US cant even make its own steel. Heres what Canada has the right to do: Sell bulk iron ore and such to the US, and they will make steel, for their own market. Canada has no use for such scales of steel, and so Canada will no longer be making steel.
