What i found interesting about staying in America for a long time is their system is basically built on squeezing the financially illiterate and conscientous ”good samaritan” people.

If you know how to abuse creditors, and you have a job with half decent benefits most of the stuff like healthcare, insurance, utilities cost a fraction of what it does in the EU relative to purchasing power

The people who are in a bad spot in the US are always people that would take out 150k USD in blanco loans, or buy a car on finance with 75% interest, these are not serious people.

The benefits for shit like autism are even higher in the US, i know a few people in the north east, and they qualify for like 2k a month, and can apply for shit like food stamps, medicare/medicaid etc and have all that bankrolled too

The net is tied to many factors like your number of children, if you are married, where you live etc.
