Which way, white man?
Trumps platform:
If billion dollar corporations are going to receive billions from tax payers in the form of subsidies (2022 CHIPS Act), then the government will own 10% of the company to get that tax payer money back and some to pay off the debt. Investment in both parties.
Democrats platform:
Give corporations billions of tax dollars (2022 CHIPS Act) with nothing in return leaving tax payers to deal with the burden.

Intel is a sinking ship, and a bailout is likely a waste of money.

the DoD has been tightly coupled with Intel since the early 00s. the FED isn't going to allow Intel to fracture and be broken apart and loose access to all the custom silicon they co-design, buy millions of units of, and stick in FED and partner DCs across the US.

doesn't work with intel, he bought a company the Biden didn't wanna even give money too cause they are spiraling.
>The Biden administration limited direct funding to Intel due to Intel's own financial troubles and project delays, particularly its Ohio chip plant, leading to a reduction in the total grant amount awarded to the company under the CHIPS and Science Act. Intel received $7.8 billion of the initial $8 billion pledge, with the reduction reflecting the company's struggles to meet its ambitious investment goals and to convince customers of its technological competitiveness against rivals like TSMC

I thought the Republican party was supposed to be the party of small government and free markets.
This is a Bernie Sanders type policy. In fact, he said he supports it.
