So he enables investors while making it harder for other countries to import goods??

What is the problem? I thought people voted for bringing back manufacturing?

it is already happening. Companies are investing massively in manufacturing in the US. People will work and earn good money there.
Tim cook just kissed trumps ass a couple days ago because his policies enable apple to invest in the US

If thats the case then why is Apple manufacturing their entire upcoming Iphone line in India.
https://www.mid-day.com/tech/tech-news/article/apple-is-making-every-iphone-17-model-in-india-for-the-first-time-23590505
I thought the point of tariffs was to bring this manufacturing to the US? Seems like it wasnt Tim Cook kissing Trumps ass but the other way around.

>Apple committed 600 billion to reshoring.
>TSMC committed over 150 billion to build 3 chip plants in the US.
>General Electric specifically cited the Tariffs as reason for their multi billion reshoring efforts

There are alot more. You have no arguments

I got a 14 oz hot deli ribeye steak for $4.50 yesterday. It was pretty good. Eggs at the town supermarket were $2.69 per dozen. I don't need chinkslop, I need affordable quality food. Prices seem to be coming down for some items, though a lot more progress has to be made.

You can't build manufacturing plants over night. their reshoring investments have a timeline of 5 years. Also apple brings out a new iphone every year or so.

I too can say I "commit" 5 trillion to any cause, that doesn't mean it's happening.

They followed through with their announced investments over the last years so why wouldn't they this time?
In 2018 following the first Trump term trade war they announced around 300 billion investments in the US over the then next 5 years. They reached their goal in just three years.
Same with their 2021 investment anouncement which they made after it became clear that Biden didn't plan on undoing Trump's tariffs

Cool so until 5 years from now all tariffs have done is make shit more expensive and made Apple move their production from China to India, and then maybe afterwards they might move it to the US. Art of the deal folks.

Their investments since 2018 have created over 30.000 direct jobs in the US and tens of thousands more indirectly. Until 2030 they will probably have created 40-50k direct jobs.
That of course is only one company allthough arguably the most important one.

Lad, that’s EVERY TAX.
The average grocery store makes 2% in profit.
Every tax that hits farmers or distributors with trucks and store locations gets passed on to the customer.

The more you depend on Sheckelburg for your roads the more the state insists Sheckelburg is more important than you.
