I would define it in its modern sense as an attempt to promote increased social liberties at the expense of other liberties.
For example: supporting the ability of someone to legally transition, while advocating for a limit on the liberty of people to speak against legal transitioning.

Woke ideology would therefore serve as a back door to increased infringement on civil rights, under the guise of improving them.

Woke is a kosher term for Cultural Marxism. It posits that the reason Marxism failed, is because the world wasn't ready for it because of differences between people, notably the natural hierarchies that biology creates. So to make possible the jewish utopia of Marxism, it is necessary to destroy all those differences, starting with the top of the hierarchy, that being Aryan straight men.

Aryan straight men are by far the best individuals in all categories, so when we notice anything more than an extreme minority of characters not being Aryan straight men getting "skilled" roles in fiction, we recognize it for what it is, a denial of reality, with the objective of accomplishing this jewish utopia.
