Anonymous (ID: gepKhR4G) Italy No.513814953
I favour aristocracy as the best engine of cultural and intellectual refinement: concentrated wealth, leisure, and standards of taste allow a minority to create the ornaments of civilisation that others later enjoy. Yet aristocracy carries the danger of arrogance, and unchecked political despotism stifles art and thought—so it must be tempered by a tolerable measure of liberty. The ideal aristocracy is elastic and meritocratic, open to anyone who proves aesthetically or intellectually fit, and demonstrates superiority through superior work and behaviour rather than ostentation. Democracies and mob rule, having no strong incentive for high achievement, tend to live off and eventually exhaust what aristocracy produces. Thus government should protect an independent, cultured elite enough to create and sustain civilisation, while remaining kind, accessible, and restrained.

No, monarchy is when a familial dynasty rules and inherits rule genetically. Not when some politician, who has not been bred and groomed to be the monarch, inherits power from a politburo who selects him for extraneous reasons in the wake of suspended elections. That is closer to the Roman Republic's form of dictatorship, which, again, is still better than democracy. But what isn't?

What's funny about it? The ancient world was replete with republics and democracies and they all failed and made room for an era of monarchies, and in that era mankind flourished like never before. At best your argument is that these systems of government are cyclical, which still doesn't lend itself to the idea that you'll be on top forever, just that you'll be on top until the current cycle ends.

Nonsense. America was born under monarchy. It was peopled by monarchy. All the infrastructure that made rebellion possible was built under the guidance of monarchs. The American republic didn't fall from a tree like a fruit. It is a fruit that grew from the tree of monarchy. And where has the journey led us? Soullessness, globalism, the shitification of the American people through mass migration, etc. Perhaps the cycle is nearing its end.

Depends on how you define that. If you define it only by the British monarchy, which was late to the game, then sure. But not if you define it by the other European monarchies who began colonizing the Americas much earlier, peopling this land with Europeans. And what does longevity matter anyway? Colonialism was still done by monarchies, not by republics (with the erstwhile exception of Holland). And again, where did republicanism lead? Horror. Why should the duration of horror be more significant than the horror itself? Also you just keep repeating yourself that monarchy is not on top at the moment, but we've already established that this is cyclical. There was a time when republics/democracies faltered and monarchies rose to take their place. There is no reason under the sun to believe it can't or won't happen again.

You have a paint-by-numbers understanding of monarchy that is clearly derived from systemic brainwashing and not actual independent investigation. You keep talking about how monarchs don't care about their subjects but having lived my entire life under this rotten system I have not seen a single shred of evidence that politicians care one iota about their citizens. It features 4 stars, one for each life lost on january 6th,
a broken white circle to represent the US congress, a red cross at the center to remind ourself that St. Ashli (yet to be canonized)
gave her life to bring it under the control of the roman catholic church.

Its based on the prior jan 6 flag which had no positive vision for the future

So then why do you cling so dearly to a system you can't even defend? The incentive structure under monarchy is better. Whether the monarch "cares" in some trivial sentimental sense for his subjects is beside the point. He has incentives to keep his kingdom in tact, to keep his people unified, to preserve the traditions and the ethics that make his reign possible in the first place, whereas politicians have only the incentives of grasping for powering and holding it as long as they can to enrich themselves, and will, and do, throw traditions, ethics, and everything else into a grinder to chase that enrichment.
