It's obvious he's positioning ships off the coast of Venezuela in case the peace talks fail with Putin and Zelensky. If he takes all the oil he can offer nations usually dependent on Russian oil a better deal taking more money from Putin driving their economy into the shitter and force a revolution to take out Putin.

It all makes perfect sense from a strategic standpoint...choke your enemy until the fall in line or they are forced to change leadership.

Unfortunately Venezuela oil is really hard to extract. Saudi crude is the easiest in the world. You put a stick in the ground and bam infinite high quality oil.
Venezualia has thick tar deep deep down and it’s a bitch to get it out. But considering the success we’ve had with fracking, which was seen as impossible just 30 years ago, I’m sure they could figure something out
