I'm a member of the "Blue Resistance". I am a very strong supporter of the Democratic Party. I am a proud Democrat. I don't hate Republicans, but I want to solve the issues that burden America. Here's the problem

Our debt is out of control thanks to Trumps tax cuts to the billionnaire and rampant military/ICE spending. Social security is also a big problem and we ought to deal with that.

Here's the solution to solve the debt that I am submitting to the DNC:

>Massive budget cuts to ICE, social security, medicaid, medicare, dept of education, dept of agriculture, and some slight military cuts.
>Those who are owed social security will get it, but from now on benefits are capped.... we will let inflation slowly wither the program until we can close it out and abolish it
>Basically gut every Federal Government program and give power to the States
>Deregulation, make sure we deregulate the hell out of the economy to allow more growth
>Drop all tariffs, bring back full free trade

But most importantly, REVERSE TRUMPS TAX CUTS

RAISE TAXES ON THE RICH
ADD A LUXURY TAX
TAX ALCOHOL
TAX VAPES
TAX CIGARETTES
TAX GAMBLING
TAX LUXURY GOODS

We will go on a TAXING spree. The taxes will be used to balance the budget and pay down the debt.

Yes, both parties are addicted to spending. That's why Republicans have embraced a 'starve the beast' philosophy since the 1980s. That created large budget deficits, which is about to lead to cuts to our credit rating. That's the only way we'll reduce spending - by being forced to do it. No political party will ever cut spending willingly, it's political suicide. Look at Europe, those nations only adopt 'austerity measures' when forced to.
