How do you expect the Democrats to backpedal away from trans rights?
So the Dems have been hugely losing support, and by now it's clear that "let the GOP tear itself apart" is no guarantee of victory.

One of the hugest elephants in the room, IMO, is their support for trans rights. It's been pissing off many women, parents, gays and lesbians, ethnic and religious minorities, and even students.

Another huge elephant in the room would be Israel and Gaza, but that one's more specific and doesn't impact the average Joe as directly.

Now obviously, they can't just say "oops we were wrong about trans people" tomorrow. They'd need to pivot slowly. But, like, how will they do it? Progressives aren't exactly known for their ability to compromise. The moment you denounce sports participation, bathroom usage, pride events, or transition for minors, even if you still support other aspects of trans rights, you're an evil transphobe no different from Bob McEvangelist or Craig Conservapodcast, the logic being that doing so means you no longer affirm that trans people are their preferred gender.

Nevertheless, I feel that that's the direction in which the Dems are heading. But they'd have to get a bit creative with their mental gymnastics in order to succeed. How do you expect they'll do it?

Quite likely that they will engineer an election cheat to steal key races in the sentate and house (and of course the presidency). It won't be easy, and even then they'll still have to contend with SCOTUS. But like you said they can't back down, and their jewish masters have work for them to get done.

Literally both parties have Jewish masters you do realize that

And we currently have an R-controlled government.

Why would they pivot from trans rights? Trannies vote for them.

They could try and say they're prioritizing womens rights over trans rights I guess, go the TERF route. 50% of the population > 1% or something like that.

They will continue to give lip service to a group of creepy perverted losers that make up less than 1% of the population in order to alienate the average person.

Democrats serve power, not policy. When the wuhan shake was just reaching our shores the democrat party line was that the disease wasnt real and that you should hug your local chinese person. In lockstep they changed their tune to six weeks to slow the spread once they realized lockdowns could give them a path to power. They dont even bother to rationalize the change in attitude.

Because the issue is used as a battering ram instead of building coalitions.

For example, intersex is VASTLY more sympathetic to the population.

Their stance on body integrity appeals to both left and right which is why they are ignored. They are dangerous.

This is part of the bigger problem of current day progressivism - Wokeness, for lack of a better word. Over the last 10 to 15 years, the ideology has basically functioned like a cult, with its adherents being fully indoctrinated and brain washed. Cult members rarely give up their beliefs quickly or easily. This means most of the people that believe in this kind of shit will continue to do so for the rest of their lives. Since these uber progressives/Wokists make up such a large fraction of the Democrat base, that party is going to have these people hanging like an anchor around their neck for the next decade, perhaps for the next two decades. The Democrat party is going to have to wait until they age out and a fresh cohort of new voters are born and grow up to voting age, assuming the party lasts that long and assuming those new voters are willing to vote for the "weirdo party." It might be the Democrat party could go the way of the Whigs over the next several election cycles.

Their strategists want them to pipe down about it in their forward-facing campaign messaging. Basically blue dogs in the streets, wokeys in the sheets, but no change in policy. That's what all this Gavin shilling is about. They need a classical liberal to be the face of the party if they ever want to win again, but it's an uphill battle convincing your average Walmart shopper that the party who had naked trannies dancing on the White House lawn deserves their vote.

Trannies barely vote and the ones who do would vote democrat even if Obama killed their family and ate their brains so it's not like the dems even have to pander to them.

What rights do "trans people" not have?
Trannies aren't a legitimate minority. They aren't born that way, they choose to be that way.

I was a liberal teen girl who hated orange man in 2016. I supported equality, gay marriage, all that fun stuff. The motivation was simply that I wanted what would make the most people happy.
Troons singlehandedly radicalized me into voting Trump in 2024. I don't even particularly like him, I just hate troonism with every fiber of my being. I will not vote for any party or candidate that supports troonism. All my lefty friends threw me away immediately when I admitted I didn't think cutting off body parts would solve someone's mental distress. I despise troons more than anyone else on this board.
Trump won me over as soon as he said he'd gatekeep these retards, and he followed through. Props.
What was learned cannot be unlearned, althoughbeit. Once trannyism is dead, jews should come next. They started it and will inevitably start something similar in the future, it's in their nature to divide and conquer.

It wouldn't be hard to just stop the active support and switch to a more passive support. Remind people of the rights they already have.

They are pissed that they can't get cosmetic surgery on the tax payer dime. More importantly, they think anyone who doesn't want to fuck them is a nazi.

the dems won't, and if they do it will be against the rising acceptance of trans people in society. the republicans are much more likely to start appealing to trans people before the dems ever decry them.

Nobody actually gives a shit about trannies. The main reason the dems are so unpopular now is because dem cities are all unlivable crackdens. People wouldn’t even care about that very much if they could still live in the ghetto without it costing a fortune. Democrats really believed they could charge people kiked prices to live in sub-third world conditions and still stay popular with poor working class young people.

AGP fetishists have all the same rights as anyone else. What they are losing is legal protection they once had to force other citizens to engage in their fetish with them.

Nobody should ever feel forced to participate in a filthy sex fetish with a deranged homosexual demanding that individuals play pretend with them, yet that is what is happening in many places still.

What will happen is that AGP faggots will lose all protection they had to force others. They will go back to being freaks in private, and ignored in public how they should be.
