Indie games. If any AAA studio gets infected, their shit gets woke, becomes terrible, and makes no money. They then need to waste Blackrock funds to keep churning woke shit out. MYM was the worst update by far, and really fucked a lot of the community of the game I will agree. But once the bot crisis was ended the game is having a renaissance. It really feels like Valve realized their cash cow was about to die, and so they decided to step in and improve the game.
The current summer update added a few new good maps, and some quality of life improvements on the back end. Plus there is going to be an official large update this Halloween, giving us new australiums and improvements to MVM. For a game that is almost 20 years old, it has a surprising amount of new players, and a core cadre of gamers.
Maybe we will see collabs from other games adding their cosmetics to the game again.

Sure some of the weapons are not as good as others, but I have seen people be good with every weapon in that game. Weapons that people said were trash, are all of a sudden good once gamers got over their initial reaction to them.
