Why does the alt right have an outdated image of blacks as pathologically dysfunctional, ghetto criminals, when the behavior of black youth has actually improved dramatically in recent years? For instance only about 2% of young black males are in prison compared to nearly 10% in the early 2000s. Far more blacks go to college than to prison now. Teen pregnancies are down more than 80% compared to the 90s, and the percentage of black children raised by single mothers has fallen below 50% for the first time in decades. Hard drug use is almost nonexistent among black youth. Why do people ignore this and instead push the "never relax" meme?

They NEED black people to fail.
If black people actually begin to succeed and move past the current failings of the community, their entire ethos falls apart.
Which is why they amplify examples of black crime and black moral failings, in addition to doing everything they can to prevent progress within the black community.
There are a lot of people in positions of power on the "alt" right who do not have any genuine hatred of blacks, but perpetuate anti-black narratives because the racial superiority of whites is such a massive pillar of all right wing ideology.

Redlining, the ratio of crack arrests vs cocaine arrests, the provision for penal forced labor in the thirteenth amendment, the Tuskegee syphilis experiments, the FBI's illegal surveillance on MLK, and more
African americans were set up to fail by the establishment so they could be herded to prisons to circumvent abolition
This isn't even the only ethnic group that America has historically exploited for profit, just look at native americans
