Why is it so hard to find degree-specific employment in a socio-economic environmnet built under neoliberal regime? It seems like it's always an endless series of copes

Like what the fuck is the point of jerking people around like this when they make a 4-6 year investment in a university degree? How does it benefit society? I mean I get it they want to frame it like it's always your fault because you didn't try hard enough or some variation of bootstrap meme, but at a certain point it becomes glaringly obvious there's something seriously fucked with the system.

The govt and banks royally fucked up the economy during covid. Inflation is being caused by high shelter costs in the US. (((They've))) now been working to reverse the damage the last 3 years. Part of the fix is freezing the housing market, and part of freezing the housing market is freezing the labor market. Now that its frozen enough Powell will drop rates but there won't be enough buyers with big salaries to buy all the housing about to come on the market cause of lower rates. The surge in inventory will deflate the housing market, which will deflate housing cost, etc etc. They'll start letting Americans get hired by the end of the year
