I know the Bible mentions the imperfection of humans, but I do wonder why so many who claim to be Christian taunt people with eternal torture or insults. In many ways, the fact that we can't right things ourselves is the point. No human nor demon can watch over this world well enough. It's one thing to say and it's another to let a real history unfold. Forms of government will be tried. Either one day we'll find one that's good enough, or God is out there and will provide that governance.
Let's say there is not enough evidence to believe in God, but let's also say God is out there. According to what's written God will know who tried their best, who didn't have a fair chance to learn, or who rejected all good sense, and in the end many will be able to choose to repent and right their ways. Even the fact that humans can't understand one another like God is said to be able to is part of what makes us so limited. So one day either this all won't matter, or it will matter to an intelligence who knows just how to understand it all and set it all right.
Either way, you're right: I don't know what it's like for my pals who are so poor they can hardly hope to invest. Not just poor, but barely able to find work. Typhoons constantly hitting their country. All I can do is share mere thousands with them over the years, while investing with the hope of helping them more one day. One day it may not matter at all. One day a being much more capable than me may grant them so much more than they missed out on. We'll see.
