In the US it's done differently, they send you a letter to report to a certain place at a certain time and if you don't then you become a felon. The US government can actually afford to be pretty generous with incentives to enlist and lenient with draft dodgers, unlike an Eastern European nation they don't need to send vans around kidnapping young people because plenty will enlist for the money or because of the propaganda or because the army offers them a relatively safe and comfortable job. If you really, really don't want to go to war or register as a conscientious objector then you literally just have to not get pulled over for speeding for a few years. So all the blustering from American anons about what they'd do when the "draft officer" comes to their door or tries to van them is pure fantasy, at most a cop might come knocking at your last reported residence. I have already been drafted over a decade ago for basic and specialist training.
Sent in my objection months ago, quite literally writing them that
"The fulfilment of duties on one side requires the grant of rights on the other. If, in practice, i don't have any rights, i will not fulfil duties."

I then went on to explain them how authorities refused to do anything when i had legitimate cases against employers or people assaulting me.

I also told them that i will refuse any substitute service.

I also told them to go fuck themselves and that i hope it's their kids and rich people that have to send their kids to and how i will piss myself laughing watching them being tortured to death while recorded on a phone by russians and chinese.

It appears that the army is actually processing my request and are now checking on former employers and assault cases i had.

They only sent me a confirmation that they got my letter.
