WOMEN ARE ASSBLASTED: SUING 4CHAN, X, AND TEA
https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.cand.453547/gov.uscourts.cand.453547.1.0.pdf

Looks like 4chan gets itself into even deeper trouble: They're getting sued along with X and the Tea app in a massive class action lawsuit.

Basically they say X and 4chan are at fault for enabling the spread. Which is a weak case considering U.S.C 230. They should subpoena x and 4chan (4chan deleted the data by now) of the people who were posting it.

So likely they will at class action against Tea, they're directly responsible. But because section u.s.c 230 exists i doubt they can actually leverage against 4chan or X here.

Here's my AI generated counter vibe to this AI sloppa

1. Direct Action with the Court (The Most Powerful Method)

The judge presiding over the case has the most immediate authority. The other parties (defendants) also have a vested interest in pointing this out.

How to Do It: You don't have to be a party to the case to bring this to the court's attention. You can file a Letter to the Court.

Draft a concise, respectful letter addressed to the Clerk of Court for the Northern District of California, with a copy to the presiding judge (Judge [Last Name], you can find this in PACER).

Subject: Letter Regarding Possible AI-Generated Content in Complaint, Case No. 3:25-cv-06325

Content: Politely and objectively point out the specific hallmarks of AI generation you've identified (e.g., the sensationalist language, rhetorical questions, and narrative style in paragraphs X, Y, Z). Note that such language is highly unusual and unprofessional for a legal pleading and may not meet the standards of Rule 11 (which requires a reasonable inquiry and that the filing is not being presented for an improper purpose).

Key Phrase: You can state that you are bringing this to the court's attention "pursuant to the court's inherent authority to manage its docket and ensure the professionalism of the bar."

What it Does: This essentially forces the judge to look at it. The judge could then issue an Order to Show Cause, requiring the attorneys from Ahdoot & Wolfson to explain under oath why they should not be sanctioned for filing a document that appears to be AI-generated without proper vetting.

I will be getting an envelope and a stamp.

More vibe because I just can't help myself. holy shit I found a massive 4chan win

1. Reputational Annihilation (The Most Immediate Damage)

In the Legal Community: They will become a laughingstock and a cautionary tale. The legal world is a small village. News of this will spread through every federal courthouse, state bar association, and law firm in the country via email chains, legal blogs (like Above the Law, which will feast on this), and Twitter. Their name will be synonymous with "AI incompetence" and "vibe lawyering." Other firms will not want to associate with them.

In the Public Eye: If this case gets the media attention it deserves (and it will), the headline writes itself: "Law Firm Sues Over AI Negligence Using an AI-Generated, Unprofessional Court Filing." The public might not understand Rule 11, but they understand staggering hypocrisy and unprofessionalism.

2. Client Catastrophe

Existing Clients: Any current client with a serious legal matter will see this news and immediately ask, "Are these the clowns representing me? Is my billion-dollar lawsuit being drafted by a chatbot?" They will fire the firm. Immediately.

Future Clients: What discerning client, upon hearing this story, would ever hire them? They have demonstrated a breathtaking willingness to gamble a client's most serious problems on an unvetted AI output. They have proven they cannot be trusted with matters of great importance.

3. Financial Ruin
Sanctions: The court could impose significant monetary sanctions under Rule 11, payable to the court and/or the defendants for the cost of their attorneys' fees in dealing with this frivolous filing.
Lost Revenue: The mass exodus of clients and the inability to attract new ones will crater their revenue. Law firms are expensive to run. Without a steady stream of clients, they will collapse.

4chan doesn't allow doxx, so it's mainly a question of how much doxxing actually happened in the form of 4chan posts or uploads, instead of them merely organizing downloading the firebase bucket, which could be done literally anywhere and can't be stopped in itself, meaning it's also a question of proliferation of a "security breach" - except it isn't one so that won't work. Nothing was breached.

Deuteronomy 20:16-17 (Violence and Genocide):

"However, in the cities of the nations the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, do not leave alive anything that breathes. Completely destroy themβ€”the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusitesβ€”as the Lord your God has commanded you."
This passage is controversial because it appears to command the Israelites to commit genocide against the inhabitants of the land of Canaan. Critics argue that this instruction is a direct contradiction of modern ethical standards and the concept of a merciful, loving God.

Exodus 21:20-21 (Slavery):

"Anyone who beats their male or female slave with a rod must be punished if the slave dies as a direct result, but they are not to be punished if the slave recovers after a day or two, since the slave is their property."
This quote is often highlighted as one of the most morally troubling passages. It explicitly distinguishes between the punishment for killing a slave versus a freeman and seems to condone a level of violence against slaves, treating them as property rather than human beings.

Psalm 137:8-9 (Revenge and Infanticide):

"Daughter Babylon, doomed to destruction, happy is the one who repays you according to what you have done to us. Happy is the one who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks."
This verse, part of a lament from the Babylonian exile, is shocking due to its expression of a desire for violent revenge against enemies, specifically advocating for the brutal killing of their children. It stands in stark contrast to the common perception of biblical teachings on forgiveness and love.

>Tea’s entire database of user verification
data.
It wasn't though. This was a deprecated abandoned database whose use had stopped in Feb 2024. This is reflected in the measly size of the database compared to the 500k+ downloads on google play.
This document also fails to mention that the exposed database had data other than the images, such as locations, allowing someone to make a map of tea app users.
The second leak (1.1M leaked DMs) is also not mentioned, but maybe that's in another lawsuit.
Perhaps the dozen other lawsuits convey these details.
