Why are jews blamed for things that whites do themselves? The idea that Europe can't be an ethnostate because jews oppose it doesn't makes sense because the europeans themselves are the ones who do that.

It's german and europeans that are opposed to this idea. In Germany you're a political extremist if you say, that having a german passport doesn't make someone from godknowswhere german. In the middle ages when catholocism ruled Christians could not give loans and charge interest. Jews however were exempt and could. So christians rarely loaned money because they got nothing from it but jews did. This lead to a power imbalance in the common folk and resentment to a specific group who everyone ended up oweing debts too.
When the black death hit many used this as an excuse to wipe their debts and blamed the plague on the jews and committed pogroms burning them like witches and all of a sudden a bunch of debts were gone but the sentiment remains and was passed down by people that don't even know this happened.
