Our middle class go to France and Italy, the plebs go to Spain mostly, yet even with our entire working class going to Spain, more than any other European nation, we don't have higher crime rates.
If Spain objects to it, they could do what Malta did and create local bylaws which put off certain types of behaviour, in Maltas case wearing swimwear outside of beaches. There are things they can do if it was so bad, but it clearly isn't that bad as they prefer the tourist money coming in as it is. Also a lot of these Spanish resort towns didn't exist before the tourist industry, most of it is built for it.

I live in Lapland and the only tourists that are tolerable are megarich Russians (haven't had those in a while obviously) and the Japanese.
The Russians keep to themselves and leave massive tips and gifts to everyone and the japs are so busy and herded with their all-inclusive trips that they just come and go and the only bother is their numbers.
Brits are among the worst, they are so fucking loud and obnoxious and lack all manners.
