tbf Wales only has a few million people in it. Somewhere around 3 million isn't it? Further back in history it was even less. Probably 200 years ago there was less than 1 million in Wales. With that considered the Welsh aren't going to have a huge impact compared to the English.
Bear in mind there's fucking loads of English people who are part Welsh (like me).
