Did you know it's quite common for the government to forcibly take away children from their parents in Denmark and place them in foster homes / foster families because they've determined the childrens parents aren't fit for taking care of their child even though in many cases they are perfectly capable of doing so.
And most of the time they only take away children that are ethically danish but would never dare take away children whose parents are immigrants and are deeply criminal

Barnevernet doesn’t remove kids until last resort… just saying. immigrants just arent noticed or cared about

The threshold is very high. Norwegian law prioritizes keeping families together and providing support (like counseling, home visits, financial help, addiction treatment) before considering removal. The decision must be reviewed by a legal board (fylkesnemnda) and can be appealed to the courts. Police are usually only involved in enforcing the decision if there is risk of resistance or danger during the removal.
