hey glowies, me again.
>The more important question is, how far russia will get into the baltics.
I lived there for a while. good little zogbot me dated the niece of a senior military commander and got deeply in, and quickly out of, trouble for it. there are sleeper and stay behind men in every country, think Vindman in ukraine and those guys just before the russians attacked. they coordinated local movements with the ukr military and started the first shipments of weapons, replenishments, SF teams, forward observers, stuff like that. there were a few in the baltics back around the 2010-2015 timeframe that I am familiar with.
their assessment, and I will agree, is that the russians will essentially walk through the baltics. it will be a repeat of the ww2 molotov-ribbentrop pact, except now with bodycams, drones, and computers. you'll also notice that the newly minted estonian defense forces commanding general said in his commencement speech that his plan is to evacuate estonia, bring in nato, and use the edf in a security capacity. what this translates into is, all the estonians run away, let nato fight, and scurry off to the rear and do "security" while we all fight and die against russians. the balts are notorious for surrendering quickly, see the fall of the hanseatic league from the old times. additionally, reading Jaan Kross' The Czar's Madman will give a glimpse into the estonian mind as it is between the clash of two great nations, germany and russia, during the napoleonic period. always placid, timid, meek, and agreeable.
they are functionally extinct, the balts. the russian population outnumbers them in their own home countries, and they've imported as many blackies as they can. doesn't matter defending the land, the white estonians are going extinct and the land itself is worthless for agriculture or industry. its just a pit stop on a geopolitical military road.
ask me about the locations of weapons caches at paldiski submarine base.
