They have publicly made a call to "creatives" to make new original stories to bring back men. Star Wars and Marvel have had over 20 flops in a row and they look to be giving up on those franchises. Thousands of videos have already been made by tubers explaining how insane this is. My question is how do people at Disney not get fired? The losses are nearing in the hundreds of billions now in losses and lost potential due to audience rejecting the product

I worked for Disney Studios for three years in tech. The reason that it still continues is that the woke infects about half the staff. And 100% of the execs.

NGL I do bring my son to watch Disney stuff at the theater, but only pre-2000 movies, and preferably pre 1970 even. We don't have a TV so that's his only exposure to mainstream slop and it's very controlled. Good thing some theaters have events like that where they show some good old stuff.
Some of the old Pixar are okay too I guess.
I remember going to watch My Neighbour Totoro with him at the same time as they were showing the new snow "white", the room was almost full for Totoro while no one was watching the zeiger slop, kek.

It means nothing. They bought Marvel and Star Wars in the first place as reactions to to the realization that they had nothing appealing to male audiences. They didn't actually care about actually cultivating a male audience or what that would entail, though, so they ended up making those franchises into boring girly shit in keeping with their existing output. The people whose primary instinct is "why don't we make this appeal to a wider audience and get money from EVERYONE!" will never accept that if you put a brother and sister in front of a screen with a remote and no other entertainment, they WILL fight over what to watch due to having a strong dislike for what the other one likes.

I gave up completely on all movies, streaming services and triple-A games about 6 years ago or so. It was unbearable even back then. Their problem is that their captive audience (franchise fans) are gone. They are trying to sell DLC for a game that flopped, if you understand my analogy. Their customer base is gone.
