I was at 760ish when I did that. Owe about $40k to various credit card companies. Score fell into the 490s. Two years later, haven't paid a thing, and have several collections account added to my report but it still rebounded to 640. No one has tried suing me yet, probably because I moved to another state without filing a mail forwarding request. Amex does email me from time to time with offers to do a partial settlement. They're down to about 40% of the outstanding balance. Amex apparently never sells debt but I'll wait a while to see if they go even lower.

They'll probably only go down to like 30-35% or only slightly lower. They usually sell it to debt collectors for 15-25% I've heard (a lot of it probably depending on your income for risk evaluation) and they have a revolving door with those so they probably won't go quite that low with a customer.

I dont think you can buy gold with credit cards or loans, and if you did, and you don't pay them back, then they would sieze your assets and money you have in your bank account until it's paid off.
I'm just not sure about the finer details of this strategy

Credit score is such inane jewish shit. I have never defaulted on a debt a single time in my entire life and I'm 40, so that's a lot of history of repayment. During that time I even had a house at one point, again with everything paid every month, which I sold after 8 years and lived with my parents for a bit for personal reasons. When I went to buy another house, my score wasn't perfect (730 or something) and I asked why, and they said it was because I didn't have enough debt despite my past history. Now that I have another house with an even larger mortgage, its still not perfect. This time their reason is because I have too much debt from the new mortgage, and/or too much ability to have debt because my bank kept increasing the limit on my credit card despite me never requesting this. I make $160k a year and have enough cash to pay off my entire mortgage 3x over, but its still not enough to satisfy them.

Buy a commodity that's going to go up in price. A commodity that you know will go up in price over the time of the credit. You'll pay you'll pay back the bare minimum amount. While you keep selling the commodity that you bought. Just keep opening new credit lines and doing the same thing while paying back the bare minimum you can live off this shit

>they said it was because I didn't have enough debt despite my past history

this is why i, in my 40's, have never bothered to acquire credit

it also hasn't stopped me from owning or doing the things I've wanted to do

i also heard the exact same story from my friend's dad who also told me that back in the 70's he could rent a fully furnished apartment for $80 a month

get a mortgage or pull as much equity as you can out of your home, max out the credit cards on tools, then dig a fucking basement out below your house without getting permits so if the bank ever repos it, its a full loss.

credit score, is a tool that the banks use to trick you into going over your budget, spending more than you make each month, going into debt, for which you pay them interest.
You'll notice that your score does not go down, when you go into debt, they use the carrot to get you further in debt, by raising your score right up until you are over your head in debt, at which point you are a debt slave, like the chinese.
China's bubble is crashing so hard right now it's insane. People are losing their homes, and still owe the slave masters more than they paid for their property.

I also don't really care. The only time in my life its ever impacted me is a mortgage rate as I always pay everything off on my credit card every month and only use it for cash back + fraud security. I just find it funny that the people behind these scores LARP as if they have infallible financial omnipotence yet make these kinds of mistakes.

Speaking of mistakes, for my entire life it turned out someone had been using my SSN to sign up for credit cards. I used to get credit card offers when I was 13 because of it. When I went to get my last house, I decided to get it corrected finally. At first they told me there's no mistake because they're such and such big dick financial institution and can never make a mistake with all the oversight and experts they have, until I pointed out that in the credit report they sent me, it showed "me" as applying for and receiving credit cards before I was 18, at which point they quickly said they would fix it and ended the call. My credit score actually went DOWN when I did this, not up, because it turns out this guy churning out a constant revolving door of credit actually looked better to them than a normal guy who never takes out more than he can afford and always pays it off.

i mean, as long as it's manageable for you, i'm not trying to talk shit or say anyone is dumb for acquiring credit, i was just always told from a young age about jews and interest, and the entire idea disgusted me, so I've avoided it for as long as i can

hasn't caused any problems yet

Doesn't seem to really work anymore unless you have no family ties and if you're willing to become "homeless" while having income that can't be garnished. If you're really slick see if you can get a six figure loan and fuck off to another country.

Unfortunately banks/credit companies have caught on in recent years and debt maxing is super fucking risky as they almost certainly will sue and courts will pull your bank records.

For a house it used to be a no brainer because of how low interest rates were (maybe not now). You were guaranteed to make more by putting that money into a stock market index rather than paying off the house (4% mortgage vs 8%+ stock returns). You also get even more money by claiming the mortgage on your tax return. I would say just compare the rate paid to how much you'd get if you used the money for something else. If its less than use credit, if not, then don't. People only get in trouble when they don't invest the money they keep by using credit to make a return, which is what most debt maxing niggers do.

Anon, the country isn't collapsing, the entire world is in decline.
The collapse will be sudden but right now the entire world is on the way to collapse and there ultimately is nothing anyone can do about it. We don't know when it will be but I cant just say take out loans because what if its in 80 years then you're fucked right?
My plan is to wait for the housing collapse, as it is the end of the 18 year housing cycle and then try to get into real estate as we start to rebound which I estimate, the rebound, will start in 5 to 7 years from now.
Look up the 18 year cycle, look up shmita years, look up global patterns, you can see it is coming and now is the time to get out of the way.

Go buy reasonable car. With that score you could almost certainly buy a car with no money down. Just have a job. Or are you looking for a house? Excellent score for getting a mortgage
