Muh sea levels has always been a meme

The real issue is the ancient methane deposits buried in the permafrost, and there is a ton of it, could fuck up the atmosphere enough to cause another extinction event, or an ice age, or both.

And human CO2 barely matters, it was going to happen anyway, the real tangible risks with pollution are air quality and microplastics, no one is doing fuckall about those

If the sea levels start rising the first thing that you’ll notice is that the Netherlands has disappeared. That country is largely under sea level already as it was built originally. A slight sea level rise would overload the dams and cause permanent catastrophic flooding.

Instead, if I’m to believe the internet, the only thing that the Netherlands is being flooded with is brown sludge from Morocco and Turkey.

You were being pedantic, Anon. The guy said a thing trying to make people think it was somehow proof of rising oceans. I pointed out that it wasn't. You made a post essentially saying 'yea, but you didn't state it hard enough'. You took issue with my using the word "right". That is pedantry. I responded because I figured I could throw you a bone and that it would be good for anybody who might come along later to see me post twice that natural erosion and shoreline maintenance do not in any way validate the sea level rise bullshit that is pushed on us. Now I've done it three times, and I kinda feel like you're just trying to waste my time.

I wonder, are they still paying shills at the same rate for replies, or has it gone up a bit? It's been a few years, after all.

Perhaps we're talking passed each other. Put simply, I think the way we express ourselves on here does effect how people see the world (as you probably do, with your mention of shilling) and I think starting with "he's right", when his point was that climate change is happening because of X, not that X was something that happened, is giving the wrong perception off to people who don't have the attention span to read more than one sentence (e.g. younger zoomers)

Green house emissions have only gone up. The real point of all this is to create a religion of fear to persuade people to accept lower levels of consumption (lower living standards) and it works on women because they are fucking thick. Maybe you are stupid? Oh also works on the scientifically illegitimate and people who refuse to comprehend their own mortality.

You are going to be dead of old age before any noticeable change happens to temperature or sea levels. You get that right?

Why should we believe them?

How many times has the 'Irreversible climate change date' came and went yet they keep pushing it back.

How many times have they predicted something only for it to not happen? They said that the arctic should been got by now about 3 times over from all the 1900s predictions.

This tells me

1: They have no clue what their science is or how it works and are just saying stuff.
2: They know there is a problem but they are intentionally lying to create a sense of urgency about something far in the future to make it seem like it's closer than it actually is.

Both scenarios are them lying. And a scientist who lies shouldn't be trusted.

In all seriousness if we simply killed every single climate scientist and alarmist it would have a more positive impact on the planet, society and science than almost any other singular action

6 cm is visible in photographs with the correct scale, so how about supplying those instead of scoffing that people can’t see 6cm in a photograph covering thousands of square meters? Arrogant nigger

I can’t believe the arctic ice sheets were completely stagnant for the 10,000 years leading up to 1900 (they weren’t)

Bro you know tides and waves exist right? Also land moves too. Sidney harbour is rising at 2.5mm/year. You can't look at a photo of a beach and measure the changes accurately. You need a radar tide gauge installed in a stilling well.

It's 0.06 inches, not 0.8, so about 9 inches in total. Well within the tidal range of any of the places pictured ITT.

>weather changes
HUMAN MAN DID THIS

Also, lol no, the sea level is not rising, there are no *legitimate* studies to confirm this, and no, wishful thinking and outdated P-Hacked papers which strategically avoided peer review are not science

Dunno which tard made this article but they know it's fake they are just grifting for Science bucks and since Climate FUD lines up with WEF's agenda, nobody asks any questions they just auto approve the funding

This is just some graduate kid spouting some nonsense for his griftbux, that's literally it

but high-low tides is disingenuous counter in that the amount of flooding they claim in their global flooding argument would far exceed tide variation, so their complaint of "doesn't count, your photo is at low tide!," things at low tide would still be flooded if their claim were true.
