If you have a problem with dating apps it's because your face is too ugly to match with anybody but landwhales and I know that because that's my exact experience too. Getting rid of them wouldn't suddenly change dating dynamics though, people would start "sliding into DMs" more on other sites and be judged by their appearance just the same.

Dating apps are literally created to keep you single, because if they managed to create a long lasting relationship they'd lose two customers

Sort of. The apps don’t exist to get people together. That’s not to say they’re designed to keep you single. Their actual design purpose is to create a validation app for women and a sort of wishing well for men.

OP’s pic is an anomaly. 72 men in a five month period and living in the same area finding someone to date wouldn’t normally happen. There was just an extremely slutty girl involved. Generally, girls on these apps don’t date anyone.

Take a step back and design your own app. What would it look like? What rules would it involve to make sure people weren’t just using it to get an ego boost and were actually trying to start a relationship?

Grindr is unironically the best dating app in terms of UI. Oddly enough, Sniffies (an even more gay app, designed around “cruising,” aka gay butt sex with total strangers) is a close second.

If you used the Grinder UI, some kind of AI algorithm that paired people with their looks match, and had rules in place such as no machine-gun messaging from men, an even male-female ratio, and booted unused profiles, then no women would ever use that app.
