Used Auto death
Reposting, when I posted last time I got like 2 instant replies from ai and then they killed the thread...

Are you wondering why it's impossible to find cheap used cars anymore?

I've seen many discussions on this. It's not cash for clunkers which happened a decade ago to 1970s vehicles. As much as I hate Obama he is not to blame.

I have seen firsthand on what happened to my boomer parents. A car that would have ended up at a 'pick 'n' pull' style junkyard and recycled into the local community is now packed up in a shipping container and moved overseas through various car offer apps. My own parents talking to 3 people with thick Indian/Arabic accents trying to low-ball their car.

Even when you trade in a car at a dealership it doesn't hit the lot. It goes to a car auction site, gets bought by a foreign buyer, and gets shipped to Mexico or Africa.

We need to talk about this. You can't find a nice beater car for $500-$1000 bucks because they're literally syphoned from the country.

Shut the fuck up faggot. Cash for clunkers killed 1970s cars. You were able to buy a fucking beater pre COVID. Post COVID exploded the auction market.

People don't even sell on fb marketplace or Craigslist anymore they just trade it in, but it goes to an auction overseas instead of hitting the auto lot.

Reminds me of that story where some electrician trades his work truck in, with his company logo on it, and it winds up on the news with a bunch of sand niggers in Syria or something riding around in it, with machine guns mounted on the top, and Jim Bob's electrical company's logo and phone number still on the side.

old cars going to Mexico have always been a thing retard, they also love buying crashed cars and fixing em and importing them. most of the border only has cars do to these imports.
Alot people don't even legally import them and they become chocolate cars.

They buy older trucks mostly and ship them to Africa or South America

Yeah Mexican trains of a old Chevy 1500 towing two or three old wrecked cars is a common site near the border.

>he thinks cash for clunkers only got rid of 70's cars
Nigger that shit wiped out 2/3rds of the used car market, even up here.

But you're still right that auctions and thefts taking cars out of the country is a big problem too.

You're a retard. Cash for clunkers had restrictions on the age of cars and 70s cars were beyond that. It killed 90's cars and trucks so the government could subsidize auto sales growth.

I've got a 1998 Corolla that still runs, though it needs a little work. I'm buying a new car soon and need to get rid of it. It's probably worth a grand. Here's why I won't sell it - it's just not worth it to deal with people who are in the market for such a car anymore. A generation or two ago you didn't have to worry about jeet scammers or niggers pistol whipping you and taking the keys. Not true anymore. It's easier and much safer to call up some mom and pop wrecking yard and just have them come pick it up.

boomers are happy to take their ever inflating piles of debt and reverse mortgaged houses that go straight to the bank or investment firms when they die to finance some $20k truck for their zoomer grandkids

idk probably big of true
I bought my 05 accord shit box for 2k and the mechanic told me the thing looks fine, probably will be working for another decade or two

I always laugh at people with nice cars because the vast majority will never actually own them or will only be poorer for having them

not impressed by your rented shitang the bank lets you use,lol insurance gas and everything else

if you are a richfag and own it outright, alright I kneel , otherwise HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA MARK MARK HES A MARRK!!! HE'S FELTED! HES GAAAYYY,HE DOESN'T OWN HIS CAR!!!

I hate to say it but this sounds like a good thing. The only reason you'd sell it to the people taking it overseas is because they can offer a better price than the local junkyard. So the total dollars in the local economy increases.
Boomers being greedy and not sharing with the younger generations that pay their social security is the problem.

It reflects that selling beaters on FB or craigslist anywhere with a non population north of 20% (being generous here) means dealing with no habla ingles Mexicans, lowballing groids and tire kicking methheads. Juice just ain't worth the squeeze anymore

Dollars are bullshit, cars are real. You've now forced young people to either not drive or take on debt.

Great way of phrasing it. If boomers use the extra wealth wisely, young people have more cars. But they don't, so young people have debt instead.
