I'm on Medicaid with Humana. Humana refused to pay for an antibiotic I needed to kill an infection I have. I had to pay for it myself. Why the fuck did Humana Medicaid insurance refuse to pay for my medical needs even though they receive federal and state subsidies and grants to pay for people like me who are poor and on Medicaid? I just avoid hospitals entirely as I'm uninsured. I still have bits of plastic embedded in my skin as I couldn't afford to get them removed in a timely manner from a separate clinic.

When I get work injuries, working in illegal conditions without breaks in unsafe conditions, I avoid the hospital and treat them at home. Have some wounds that have not healed correctly.
