Why are Democrats so sure they're going to win in 2028?

Also why are they so sure it's going to be Vance and not Rubio (who has broad MAGA/non-MAGA appeal) or Gabbard (whom Roger Stone predicts to be the first female POTUS) that they'll have to content with?
