China is always the one coming out ahead here.
The West is wealthy mainly because most jobs are white-collar.
But with the rise of AI, mass layoffs are happening.
Not to mention, many white-collar jobs are essentially fake.
China is wealthy because the majority of its people work blue-collar jobs,
and it serves as the factory of the world.
By 2035, my current job (tax officer) won’t even exist.
