I know someone who went to a clinic to talk about urgent cat1 surgery. They wanted to cut some extra things out just because they like doing that shit. He said no, just do the parts of the surgery I'm here for and that way it'll be a quicker procedure. They said fine makes no difference to us. After 6 months of no follow up the clerk said "it's been noted here that you refused surgery." He had to explain to 4 different people that he only refused some random extra organ removal and they knew that.
