is wealth accrual jewish culture?
I mean, i get it, from their perspective they have been persecuted for a millennia and always need to be ready to 'leave again'. so they need to accrue wealth.
But is it uniquely jewish culture?
The protestants changed the game a bit with the Calvinists who began to amass large sums of money to show their 'blessedness' and by extension, their pre-destined salvation. But wealth itself was never meant to be the objective. It was simply a by-product of their 'real' objective of, basically, the self-fulfilling prophecy of pre-destination.

I'm trying to understand how and why we got to the place we have in our society. Where we all don't know why we work for 40 hours a week (if you're lucky enough to have a full time jbo these days), to, in the famous fight club line, buy shit we don't even need.
is it because those who own the means of production (jews, by and large) have us all psy-opped to consume, consume, consume. To keep up with the Jones'. to express ourselves through material possessions?
I'm not necessarily saying the Jews are doing a bad thing in this instance. They're looking out for their own welfare. and good on them. they should.
But, if this is true (and Calvin fucked things up a bit here because it muddies the water), maybe us non-jews are the stupid sheep that many Jews believe us to be. And we are getting what we deserve.

The only way i can see to 'fight the system' is to not buy into it. Not consume. Not compare. Be a happy human being independent of external validation (which is basically what Jesus said).

The pic you shared are greco-roman values, who valued herosim, valiance , tenaciousness. etc etc.
Jews are pre-destined to be the whipping boys of history. But they try to turn their weaknesses into a strength (playing the victim).
you can't play the victim by having those greco-roman values.

40 hour work week to buy shit you don’t need is just free market capitalism, and the hidden hand of the market is an emergent force in and of itself, it emerged organically from mercantilism. It’s largely divorced from faith and culture and is more of an evolution of human society
