It's not a matter of neutrality. Both sides are controlled by the same people, after all.
We live in a world of nuance. The sides we're presented with lack that nuance, making us embrace some of what we believe at the expense of rejecting other parts.
It's a con designed to control us and strip our ability to truly govern ourselves. "You want traditional values? Alright, better give tax cuts to the rich people. Oh, you want more workers' rights and better safety nets? Better be okay with cutting your dick off."

We have strong beliefs. OP isn't suggesting otherwise either. He's pointing out that the US two-party system is a farce. Their opposition is just theatre. And both are working towards the same goals, which he (and most of /pol/) oppose. Supporting certain policies of a republican or democrat doesn't make you one, especially when you recognize that politicians will lie and say they will do something (which you support) but then not actually do it.

Those who are not smart enough to understand the system cannot imagine a world without the system.
