It would be funny if when WW3 breaks out Greece and Turkey are probably technically supposed to be on the same side but they ignore the rest of the world completely and fight against each other the whole time. After 40 years of intense combat killing almost everyone, peace is negotiated by accepting the border on Cyprus is moved by half a mile.

KEK so true.
But Greece against Turkey is a no brainer. Even if the greeks could do some shit with their american and euro weapons intially. It will never be enough. Turkey is simpoly to big in every regard. Yeah the greeks could hit this and that but then what? Strockpiles run out quickly and missiles can only be fired once.
After that they are just waiting to get slaughtered. And there arent any more NATO weapons to go around. Israel and Ukraine have drained almost everything.

Onyl because Europe and the US wouldnt allow it. Israel would also not let that chance slip away and bomb them as well. Like they always do. Waiting like vultures.
But left alone, Greece doesnt stand a chance in the world. It wouldnt be like Ukraine and Russia at all. The turks could move in a million soldiers over Thrace. A simple landinvasion and what many dont know is that Turkeys true strength are its massive groundforces. Thats what makes them so dangerous for countries in the region.

Greece already tried that in 1919-1922 and got btfo so hard they had to crawl back to the WWI Entente that was still occupying Constantinople to convince Ataturk to not invade Greece.
That was at a time there was near zero industry in Anatolia. In the meantime Greek population less than doubled while Turkey multiplied by 6.

We still invest the most into their economy after all. I could be wrong and you mention something different. But a french carrierfleet would surely scare them away from whatever they wanted to do. You have to remember them their place, every now and then. That I do know for sure. But Im a cautious person and truly expect them to become a real nuisance in the near future for all of these parties involved. maybe not the US, since its lightyears ahead of them, but they will start acting up when they continue to develop.

For sure. But im not sure what they want. First thing that comes to mind is tearing Turkey apart and leaving it broken like Iraq, Syria and Libya. That can be very easily done, which is actually the most logical thing to do. Take the straits and leave the rest of the country to whoever may come out victorious. Be it kemalists, marxists, kurds or islamic extremists.

But I think Israel if after something else. Probably a puppet goverment ruled by NATO that acts as a smaller China for the wests industry and a Ukraine like foodbasket.
But if we are being honest here, that would be the best outcome for the turks as well.
Lets be honest here, turks have proven that they cant rule themselves and always suffer and missmanage everything. Why dont they simply become a vasall state with higher living standards? Its not like they have to lose anything at this point.

The french navy is the best in Europe. Maybe second to the UK, but they are really strong. That much I do know.
And France has far better ships and long range missiles. They could sink every turkish ship before the turks would even notice that they are being actively attacked.
Let me make something perfectly clear. I do my analysis with Turkey regarding Greece. I never compared them to larger european countries.
Showing that Greece is only 1/8 of Turkeys size (population) and still can put up a fight like that, shows that Greece is more capable but simply to small. Thats a reality.
Turkeys military is far weaker than people assume. Their have no airforce and no capabilities to mass produce anything but drones, who are ineffective against countries like France.
And Turkeys economy is in shambles and its 5 minutes away from civil war. Turkey could take on small countries like Greece and the other arab shitholes in the region, but against a european army they would be like sitting ducks.
They have no airforce, no air defense system, cant make tanks or artillery weapons without Rheinmetall "Glattrohrkanonen" or german engines. They cant build shit without european or american support. No matter what they tell themselves, thats the truth.

And leave the straits to Russia? The english and french saving the turks was not a good will gesture. It was simply to not let Russia take Anatolia. The actual biggest mistake was giving up the straits that were already under their control post WW1.How they came up with that idiotic decision should boggle your mind. Not stopping the russians from gaining even more lands.

Are they? How is droning a Leclerc or a french ship any different to droning a Russian tank/ship? Unless the french have drone countermeasures I'm not aware of, I doubt they would fare any better.
Also, I'm pretty sure every western country would explode in protests as soon as videos of their soldiers getting killed started going around unless it was a defensive war or an extremely popular war for some reason.
The west doesn't know what losing thousands of soldiers per day is like anymore. Back when all the shit in the middle east happened, western countries would put even a single patrol getting wiped out by an IED on the news and the anti-war faction would use it as ammo. Imagine what a conflict with ukraine-lever of coverage of tens of thousands of deaths would cause.

Turkey was always a target of it and was always living on borrowed time. Just like the rest of the arab countries in the vicinity plus Iran.
Sometimes I do feel sorry for them, because I do understand them to a certain point... They were rulers once and even the europeans feared them. Only for them to become a backwards vasall state that became a playball of european, russian and later american and jewish powers. They suffer from an absurd inferiority complex and by trying to become a great power again, which will never happen, they only hurt themselves in the process.

Turks have no philosophy, no soul, and no art.
Anatolia peaked with Diogenes, the famous NEET of Sinope. It's been downhill ever since.

The first truly great NEET. None other than Alexander the Great had happened upon the city of Sinope in the wake of his life and of all the sights in the city who did he most wish to see? Diogenes the NEET. As he happened upon Diogenes, he told him
>I will give you whatever so you wish, you merely only need ask and it shall be provided
Diogenes, in his based state, looked upon his king and conqueror, the most powerful and venerated in the land, and he said to him
>Move a little to the left, you are blocking my sun
And Alexander, amused, doth quipped
>If I could not be Alexander, I would choose to be Diogenes
>To which Diogenes replied, "If I were not Diogenes, I would still wish to be Diogenes".
Did Alexander want to be Arigones the flour miller? Fuck no. Did he wish to be the idol maker? Nope. He wanted to be a NEET. Being NEET has been based forever and will still forevermore
>According to Diogenes Laërtius, when Plato gave the tongue-in-cheek[35] definition of man as "featherless bipeds,” Diogenes plucked a chicken and brought it into Plato's Academy, saying, "Here is Plato's man" (Οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ Πλάτωνος ἄνθρωπος), and so the academy added "with broad flat nails" to the definition.

Turks shit up the place and turned it into a cult of the Sultan/Emperor.

All Greece would have to do is make the Bosporus impassable to shipping with missile and drone strikes like the Houthis are doing in the Red Sea. Something like 40% of Turkeys economy is centered around the Sea of Marmara, imagine if there was no shipping going in and out of this area. Their economy would crater even worse than it has in the last decade. In modern warfare you don’t need to invade and occupy an entire nation to ensure victory. You merely have to collapse the other countries economy and let everything play out. I know Turkey still has ports on the Mediterranean and the Black Sea but enough cheap drones and missiles would still close a good portion of the country to outside trade. I don’t think Bulgaria, Romania and Serbia would stand idly by while Greece took on Turkey alone.

You mean europeans and russians.
Greece was winning the war post WW1. The turks had no chance against them and were pushed back into central Anatolia in a very short time. But the europeans and russians decided that Greece should not become an emerging power, which they would have become if they had won that war.
They gave turks weapons and ammo to fight push the greek forces back. That was a huge betrayal and one that the greeks did not forget, I presume.

That would hurt them a lot. But would be russians and chinese allow full NATO control of the staits. I doubt it. To topple Turkey you need to destroy it from within not by force. And thats much more easily done than directly attacking them and unifying them for a common cause.
Destroy their economy completely, rile up the kurds and give them weapons and watch it all come down.
No need for any large scale campaign. And US, UK, France navy blockating them from any retaliatory actions against Greece or others.

I don’t think China would really give a shit if Greece took control of the straights. If anything they would probably be happy that there was another general European land war. Russia can bitch and moan all they want but the straights have been in NATO hands since Turkey joined NATO. Russia hasn’t been able to have any commercial or military ships pass through the straights since they invaded Ukraine. Russia also isn’t exactly known for their naval prowess so any attempt to exert control or influence in that area would lead to what remains of the Black Sea fleet joining the Moscow on the bottom of the Black Sea.

Is such scenario Greece would not be alone.

It is not a desireable scenario for anyone but Europe Is ready to the eventuality.

For instace the reason why Italy has so many ships with anti submarine capabilities is because Ankara has invested in sub technology.

Doesn't matter. What distinguishes you from us is central asian admixture, and while it's quite low percentage wise, we can see it in your faces, most of the time at least.

I never thought the problem with Turkey is racial, not at all.

The thing that screwed you and us Is that constantinople fell. If you guys were able to hold and win Anatolia the entire center of Europe and the west would have been in your area. (Till the rise of USA)

Germany UK would have been much less relevant.

Some dude says turks are greeks, the other says turks are arabs, the other says they are jews, the other says they are baby eating aliens.
Its just all flimsy rationalizations.
You hate them, you dont need to rationalize, its fine, used to it at this point.

Turks are steppe niggers mixed with whites. If they weren't Islamic I doubt anyone would consider them less European than Hungarians.

Good thing they dont stand alone
>Europe and the US wouldnt allow it. Israel would also not let that chance slip away and bomb them as well
Is this a bad thing?
