So they would both have needed to smuggle the quadcopters into Gaza in immense quantities and then train large numbers of operators under conditions of secrecy while being constantly surveilled by the Israelis, who would seek to disrupt any attempts to do so. I've seen drones used in Gaza, they do use drones, but it's an urban environment, they are less effective, Israel can't just shell the city down to be able use drones like they have in uko-russo, but yea they use drones on both sides, also it's an insurgency situation it's not some national army like Ukraine, Hamas doesn't have resources, id guess Israel could use more drones, but they won't release footage, they certainly do use drones though

Drones have serious limitations. A drone carries a much smaller explosive payload, is much slower, and can be interfered with through any number of means. A howitzer can dump hundreds of pounds of explosives anywhere within like 15 miles within about a minute of identifying a target, while a drone has to fly to the target and most of them have warheads of under a pound. Drones are a weapon for killing men, artillery is a weapon for destroying a whole grid square.

No, I have no idea where you got that impression. Russia conducts dozens or even hundreds of air strikes a day on Ukrainian front line positions, and they fire thousands of artillery shells every day. Ukraine does not have the ability to gain air superiority over the front to conduct air strikes, so they don't conduct air strikes, and they have very little artillery left, and what they do have tends to operate with a very small daily shell allotment. Ukraine uses drones to try and accomplish what artillery and air power achieve for the Russians, but it doesn't work very well.

I am sure they extensively use artillery, but if you mean indiscriminate shelling, that's not very efficient in urban combat. The rubble is even easier to defend than normal urban terrain, and unless you completely collapse a building's structure you're unlikely to kill the occupants once they take cover, which they will rush to the moment the first shell lands. Leveling every building completely with artillery would wear our your artillery pieces and chew through your ammo at an unsustainable rate for pretty much any army, but especially for the Israelis, who mostly operate expensive high end artillery IIRC.
