A quick skim shows that here in 2023 a record amount of 123 people got poisoned with Destroying Angel and in 2024 it was 60 people.
I doubt an overwhelming majority of them died because fungal poisoning is treated pretty seriously.

I can easily identify both death caps and destroying angels and whenever I'm in the Mälardalen area in late summer or autumn I spot a lot of destroying angels, but never where I live.
