China Launches Most Powerful Rocket Ever Built
Are we losing the space race again bros?

China has successfully tested the first stage of its new Long March-10 rocket, a major step toward future lunar missions.

The test took place at Hainan Islandโ€™s spaceport, where seven YF-100K engines fired together for 30 seconds, generating nearly 900 tons of thrust. The engines performed smoothly, providing crucial data for the rocketโ€™s development.

At 92 meters tall, the Long March-10 is nearly three times more powerful than the Long March-5. Once complete, it will use 21 engines and carry up to 27 tons toward the moon.

Its true but misleading.
>China tests ITS most powerful rocket yet
>ITS
So ya, its the most powerful china has ever built.
The long march 10 is about 8 million newton's of thrust.
Saturn 5 was 34 million newtons.
And that was 60 years ago.
(Not going to discuss Space X starship until they can manage 1 fucking successful launch)

you're mistakenly comparing 2 different measurements

long march 10 = 8 million pounds / 38 million newtons
saturn 5 = 7.6 million pounds / 34 million newtons

Energia and N1 are the coolest looking ones. Followed by SLS and Saturn V.
Never heard of Energia, looks super futuristic.

never like the look of the N1. some kind of weird janky commie hobo looking thing. the Saturn V however was pure rocket sex.

It's no secret flat earth spam happens in any discussion that might rise the real questions about earths shape, composition and relationships with universe.

It's very easy to engage people in discussing elementary school geometry if the alternative is complex magnetic fields between solar system objects, radio emissions from planets, other viable planet and space mega-structure shapes or existential questions, like where do new people get their souls from and who gets to reincarnate.

so it is in fact the most powerful rocket that actually works ever built

Well no, they didn't make it to orbit yet, did they? So they are the same state as starship
