I think it's because we're starting to notice more and more of them. They were in relatively smaller and inconsequential numbers hitherto, but now they're perforating normal everyday jobs. They used to only pollute the tech industry and some parts of medicine, but that's shit that the normal person wouldn't really encounter on a grand scale. But the more that come here, the more truck drivers, bus driver, pilots, train operators, construction workers etc etc we're going to see. Especially when we open the floodgates not to the "skilled" few, but to the real meat and potatoes of them all. The normal, average Indians. The Indians the "skilled few" were trying to move away from.
And the salient problem with them is that wherever they go, they immediately try to take over whenever they have the chance. Even if a neighborhood is taken over by Mexicans, they don't erect statues of a 100 armed blue faggot all over the place, symbolizing that this is now "their" neighborhood.
