Do you realize how insane this whole situation is bro? Just the money for building data centers for AI is higher than all US consumer spending (for this whole year). That's literally the only thing keeping the economy alive atm. And 95% of companies that are trying to use AI have Z E R O REVENUE from it!!! It's literally worse than the tulip mania. Tulips at least smelled nice and didn't ruin nature lol.

You have to consider inflation too, the bubble is bad but it's not an exact comparison like that.
You'd have to normalize it on the gold price or some (((federal reserve))) metric like m2 (but they switch those up frequently to prevent such direct comparison).

Here's spy/gold
Maybe it's not so bad. This doesn't directly factor in the full retard pe ratios, I'm sure those were nuts during dotcom also.
One possible conclusion is that we are in a tech bubble and gold is severely undervalued.

They smuggled chips in because they realized that Nvidia had been artificially governing the chips (they actually used the same chips for TI and non TI models, the non TI models were just throttled) and lying to their customers about it, so the Chinese imported the specific chips in question, then unlocked them on a hardware level to get massive increases in performance, giving them a competitive edge in the market

THAT is why NVIDIA got butt hurt over China importing chips, anything else is corporate fuckery because they don't want their domestic market to realize they have been both gouging hardcore AND governing chip performance

Oh wait I got that backwards. However as I don't think that gold is overvalued it seems possible we are not in a tech bubble as bad as dotcom.

Nvda is gonna beat it by a low margin with the Chinese exemption being picked off. China just canceled orders for their new chips because what was superior technology China has surpassed while embargoed. They will keep making and producing their own chips
TL;DR: China has banned the NVIDIA H20 AI GPU, citing security concerns despite US export licenses allowing sales with revenue sharing. This move halts NVIDIA's H20 shipments and production for China, impacting trade amid ongoing US-China negotiations and suspensions of downgraded US AI chip exports until further notice.

>GayEye
A recent report said 95% of companies are seeing 0 benefit from AI.
This has caused a bunch of companies to stop investing in AI, and the ones who are still investing are trying to rush their products out the door asap, this is why Iowa and Texas both are having sudden meetings to talk about getting into massive contracts to install AI surveillance all over their cities.
So my guess is this earnings report will be somewhat lukewarm because they'll do their best to hide the fact that future sales/contracts are gone.
The next one will be horrific.

Big miss likely because their GPU lease scam has fallen out of favor which will cause a massive selloff (Dow closes -1800 tomorrow), PCE dramatically higher than forecasted causing a continued bloodbath which will get worse the following Monday, blah blah blah September 75 basis point rate cut talks which causes the dollar to crater, AI house of cards falls apart and we enter a 30 month recession. Don't believe me? Look at my numbers.

Relatedly, biotech stocks are unaffected and may even rally because biotech isn't beholden to reality or the stock market at all. If you are holding some small cap biotech startup you're gonna do fine in my opinion as long as you have enough moneys in there

Dont bother with gold, fucking buy a house. Rates are going to plummet and people can't wait to refi or move the fuck out of their shacks. FL gets cheaper because people are stuck with extreme flood insurance otherwise if they can't sell, the midwest gets cheaper as people flood places like TN and MO. The northeast blah blah blah who cares. Buy a fucking house during this window you are about to have.
