They try and argue its a "creative expression" like its supposed to be performance art or something. The executive order mentions inciting in a riot. It doesnt seem like it would apply to someone burning the flag in an art gallery as part of an actual performance art exhibit, but rather when people are "protesting" (rioting) and burning the American flag because they hate America and want Trump removed from the power and the government overthrown. Maybe it will be applied to actual performance art, my understanding is it wont. Someone should test the legal boundaries of burning the fag flag as a creative work of performance art.

Burning something isn't speech. A nation needs to protect its symbols - statues, flags, monuments, icons, etc.
We should also bar the raising and display of any national flag other than our own. Or at least mandate that the American flag be flown above any other national flag.
