Basically anyone in USA is up for a good lawsuit, over anything at any time. People sue grocery stores if their floor mats are slippery in wet weather. people sue fastfood for hot food/drinks. it never ends. in USA there's an entire culture around it. Suing an AI for offering public information seems like a cash grab. It will be tested in courts and its highly likely that the case will be settled if there's any chance of lawsuit precedent against OpenAI being possible
That aside, saying an AI "coached" a user is a stretch. Offering info based on requests -- info for common knowledge -- doesnt make the AI a death coach. The family are greedy kikes and looking to cash in. I've never talked with any of the popular AIs and had them tell me I should kill myself
