Scotlands just like that. It’s their culture. Scotland also has a separate legal system to england & wales and scotland is the most draconian country legally speaking outside of America. For example it is a crime to have a criminal record in scotland and you can be jailed for it (and people often are). Carrying a shiv will most often land you an automatic preset jail sentence depending on the area. I once fell foul of such law in sunny Glasgow while on the lamb. I was impressed to find that my not insubstantial criminal record from england was not available due to incompetence and proceeded to tell a story where i was the romantic hero and though it was an auto jail sentence I walked from court with a ruling of “boys will be boys” from the female stipendiary magistrate who was clearly in love with me as most women usually are. I was fortunate. But I’m a slippery customer who twirls his moustaches. I hope lil goyl gets a medal. In fact if she doesn’t it’s probably going to kick off.
