What's up with fast food jobs always being politicized as "unskilled labor" and "side gig money"?
I worked at pic related in 2013 and it was by far the most stressful fucking job I ever had. Since then, I've worked in hospitals, specialty retail stores, several offices, and even a literal deaf kids school. None of them came close to the sheer amount of stress and burnout I experienced from 2 years in fast food.

Ironically, forklift drivers are considered trade skilled despite my training consisting of driving in a circle around cones for a little while and passing a 30 question test with 100%, that you're allowed to re-take instantly until you pass.

I worked at a KFC for a week, had a mumbling redbone negro attempt to teach me how to use the pressure cookers and it was impossible to understand him so I just quit.

I work 16 hours in a mine and im less tired after than when i used to work a double (10 hour) shift in a grocery store
