People kept doing crimes or getting defeated and war and became enslaved. Slaves were found everywhere and were exploited for their labor. Nigger slaves were also much more immune to malaria and so they were highly valued in certain jobs in areas near the equator because white slaves kept dying off doing those same jobs, like how many whites died off building the Panama canal. After things became more established and the threat of mosquitoes killing us with their diseases was less we now had a large population of niggers though that needed to be sent back but deportations were interrupted when Abraham Lincoln was assassinated and there may be some more details to the whole issue of deportations stopping. The real solution would have been to use white slaves wherever possible and where only niggers would be useful to always have them castrated, then they'd never have become a problem.

It was cheaper to import slaves and have them work than it was to import whites and have them work. It was extremely expensive to travel to the Americas as a European. It was cheaper to bring slaves from Africa. Most Europeans in the Americas were independent and preferred not to be used as Serfs for a rich douchebag. They chose to own their own farm than work for a large plantation. Supply of white workers were low, but the demand for produce was high. Due to this, those owners opted for slavery to maximize their profits.

See my previous post but also whites didn't really go into Africa because if they did they would have died. They only went to the ports and various tribes in Africa would bring their slaves they had captured in their never-ending tribal conflicts to sell at the ports. It was really difficult for a white man to actually venture into Africa without dying from disease.

Oh btw in case anyone doesn't know, all slaves received wages for their slavery, that's how slaves were able to buy their freedom if they wanted it. Usually slaves that stayed enslaved wasted their wages on booze and the likes or were so comfortable with blacksmithing, fieldhand, or whatever was their job that they didn't want to bother being free once they had enough saved up for it. A lot of times the relationship between master and slave was actually very positive, of course you mainly hear the horror stories of the slaves that were mistreated and kept running away, but that's like when you have a shitty boss doesn't mean everyone has a shitty boss.

Nobody ever talks about out the indentured servants but they worked in similar conditions though once their contract of servitude was up they were legally free. The thing is they were not always freed and some people lived in generational servitude or what we would call slavery. Ships left Europe, went to Africa where they sold desirable trinkets and picked up the only "product" that the west African states had, which was slaves. They then went to America and dropped off the slaves and picked up crops, which they took back to Europe.

The thing about Africans selling slaves, is that slavery in Africa existed a long time before this trade started. Tribes were always raiding each other and capturing slaves. So when the ships showed up, slaves was something they had in abundance. I said trinkets, but they were also interested in weapons, which they used to raid other tribes and to capture more slaves.
