However I’ll be the first to admit the FDA is largely the reason, some of their standards are retard tier and just add an ungodly amount of extra expense. - but at the same time have also toured facilities (particularly in other countries) the FDA needs to shut the fuck down yesterday.

At this point in my career I could really go either direction - the firm I’m at is fully ready to enter a free-for all at any time, but also benefits immensely from regulations.

There are drugs that are $20 a month out of pocket that people can't get because a doctor refuses to prescribe them, just letting their condition deteriorate forever. Doctors are literally killing more people than they're helping at this point. We honestly need to get rid of all doctors that aren't surgeons. They don't DO anything except soak up insurance money, make people sick, kill people and make everything more expensive. They're also a toxic lobbying group that actively fights AGAINST patient interests. Years ago in Ohio, doctors and nurses joined forces to BLOCK lowering drug prices.

On a side note - nationalized health insurance would lower costs for everyone. Every study shows it would be cheaper for taxpayers. Not only would everyone get health care but people and businesses wouldn’t have to pay for policies, saving everyone money.
