Hello, I am an employee of an unspecified branch of the US federal government. I am a Remote Viewer / Astral Projection Engineer.
A few weeks ago, a different government agency brought us in to see if we could help them determine what this thing is. Until two days ago none of us were able to really see anything regarding this object. It is very far away, but it was almost like there was something blocking or shielding it from remote viewing efforts.
However, two days ago I did manage to semi-successfully remote view something at least. I will describe what I saw and try to keep it in basic layman's terms.
The first image I began to see emerge from the darkness were the faces of people standing on a street corner or outside a corner shop in a city somewhere. The angle of the camera was about what it would be if it was the view from a security camera across the street. I was able to clearly see the faces of the people, the image was extremely clear and highly detailed (none of the people I saw were recognizable, they looked like ordinary people).
At this point I began to realize I wasn't viewing this directly, I was looking at some sort of display screen or projection. The screen was in the middle of what I would describe as looking like some kind of control console for something. Imagine one of those old modular synthesizers from the '70s. Notably, the rest of the console other than the display appeared to reddish-brown, like the color of rusty iron.
At this point, I began to realize that there was some kind of entity or being just to my right, also looking at the display on the console. I couldn't see it well at all, as best as I could tell it was approximately humanoid, but definitely was not human.
This being seemed to recognize that I was there observing this and made a movement toward the console.
I immediately started experiencing something like interference or jamming which forced me out of the session.
All subsequent attempts have failed.
