They love Trump, because they have no achievements, nothing that sets them apart from society. Trump makes them feel like *they* could be president. Trump lets them feel better than those dirty job-stealing immigrants. When your life is basically doing what your pappy did, and what his pappy did, and what his pappy did, never leaving your hometown, never expanding your horizons, Trumpism is the antidote to those feelings of inferiority. He makes people like this feel special, something democrats could never do.

Because they're hard working builder-types? They should really mind their diets better though. I know guys built like this, and they tend to have trouble with their knees and diabetes as they approach middle age. I was pushing 230lbs at 5'10" and switched from 15 cans of lager per night to 4 tall cans of 9% ale or a bottle of whiskey. Now I'm a fairly lean 175... basically my high school weight. Also they could dress a wee bit better. Like get Bavarian style hats, golf shirts, and darker denims.
