How did the Mexican cartel gain so much political power?

Before someone says oh America could wipe out the cartel in one day. No actually they couldn't and let me explain why it hasn't happened yet. The Mexican cartel operate as sleeper cells all over the United States. If they did infact map Mexico using US forces and sleeper cells were in Mexico. The United States governments military could wake up the next day with there entire families peeled alive. This is the number one reason they haven't done so.

But how did they gain so much political power off of violence alone? Simply being violent got them all this power? Even there own political leaders have to pay money to the cartel or they get peeled like an orange. And everyone there is piss scared of getting fucked up. Do you blame them?

Its not complicated. The cartels are no different from any business like Walmart or Chevron. They just operate in a different way. We can see easily that the richest people out there are the ones who gain and basically determine who will become the next president or prime minister or party.

The thing is that the cartels just like Al Capone and any politician, they buy the public. They give them something to make people think they are good guys after all.

I'm in Sinaloa, here's the cartel violence news I've heard. The violence is primarily in Culiacan.

It is cartels killing other cartel members, and their entire families. There is a serious war going on now for months.
It is cartels fighting against Mexican military, marines and army.
It is cartels fighting against Mexican Federal police forces.

Municipal and other city type cops work for the cartels, but they don't get killed by the rest cartel enemies.

I've heard stories, sometimes in neighborhoods narcos will pull entire families from their homes and just shoot them dead right there in the front yard. Sometimes they'll just drive up to a house and just blast the bejeesus out of it. Just being a family member that isn't involved, you are still a target.

Yeah some of us are. In reality there were a bunch of tribes in what is now considered Mexico. But the two main ones were Aztecs in central Mexico and Mayans in southern Mexico. The Aztecs were truly evil, the Mayans were a lot more chill and intellectual.
The most peaceful region in Mexico is southern Mexico where the Mayans lived. Merida is the safest city in the country and it's pretty much all Mayan. I'll never understand how normies deny the reality of genetics when examples like this exist.
